The location is in the heart of the medina, quiet yet close to everything, and the traditional decor gives a genuine local feel. You can find a nice terrace to relax after exploring, and if you're into authentic Tunisian cuisine, definitely try the couscous.
The setup has some quirks, like the mattress being two small ones that separate nightly and the open shower design that can leave the bathroom a bit soaked. You’ll also deal with a lack of a fridge, unreliable Wi-Fi, and rather lackluster breakfast options—think one egg, bread, and coffee, not much more. No laundry service and cleaning might not meet your standards either during the stay were a few additional bumps.

Sure, the rooftop terrace was a grand spot for catching stunning views of the medina at sunset, and the breakfast was fresh, with lovely orange juice. But, ah, the water being turned off at night was a right bother after a hot day!

Charming and snug gem!
This spot was everything I hoped for! Super comfy beds and the breakfast was fresh with that homemade vibe. The rooftop views? Amazing! Just a heads-up, the shower could use some TLC, water issues on my second night were kinda random.

authentic charm but a bit tricky to find
The hotel presented a unique atmospheric experience that truly felt like stepping into the local culture. The deluxe double room offered an authentic decor that added to the charm of my stay. The owner was accommodating and agreed to refund my second night without hassle when I decided not to extend my stay.
Finding the hotel was complicated due to multiple locations with similar names.

The location provided a genuine feel of the local culture with easy access to the medina. The terrace was a delightful spot for unwinding after exploring. Unfortunately, the mattress setup was uncomfortable, and it lacked a bedside lamp making nights challenging. A limited breakfast without fruit or yogurt was disappointing, and the Wi-Fi was inconsistent, hindering connectivity.

It was just an appropriate option for a short interlude in Sousse with value for money. The location in the medina was quiet and cool, providing a pleasant atmosphere. Bring cash as credit cards aren't accepted.
